This fixed-price sale with the ability to make fair offers was valued based on the near-mint grade of this knife and recent eBay sales for the same knife if available. This knife is not referenced in Ed Holbrook's book 'Official Scout Blades' or Joseph Kerr's book '600 Scout Knives'.

This very limited Ken Onion-designed knife was produced by the Boy Scouts Las Vegas Area Council to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of American Scouting using Kershaw's Silver Shallot as the base and creating model #1840-DAMBSA with Thomas Damascus Steel, the only BSA official Damascus steel folding knife ever produced. The beautiful silver satin 410 stainless steel handle has an ink-etched BSA2010 logo.

The shallot model features an assisted opening system with ambidextrous index-finger opening. To operate you simply pull back on the blade protrusion with the index finger of either the left or right hand. This knife also has a reversible tip-up or tip-down pocket clip along with a handy lanyard hole. This knife is 4.625" closed and has never been carried, sharpened, or used. The single blade opens and closes smoothly and is 100% full.

The price paid includes shipping with full insurance to protect your purchase against loss or damage. This knife comes from a smoke and pet-free home and will be properly packaged with tracking numbers provided via AAPK.
