This is a Schrade Imperial horse hoof knife. These were made in Ireland by the old Schrade Company before they went bankrupt in 2004. This great little knife is 3 ¾” closed with a 2 ¼” blade and 3” hoof pick with bottle opener. Features stainless steel blades and frame and ivory colored plastic handles. These feature the Sundowner Trailers logo on the handle and blade. These were bulk packed so the handles have very minor rub marks from storage and handling. Knife is however in new, never used condition, and is a well made knife. This has been a very popular knife and well liked by those who have purchased them in the past.

These knives were found in the old Schrade warehouse when they went out of business in 2004. These were imported from China under the old Schrade “Double Eagle” name and never made it to market. While this knife is not marked Schrade, they did market knives under the Double Eagle name years ago. My understanding is they were in the process of reviving the Double Eagle name. This is one very nice, well made knife! Knife is a little over 8” long with a 3 7/8” stainless blade. Full tang construction, brass pins and stainless steel finger guard and pommel make this one heavy duty knife. Multi-colored laminated wood handles are very well done and look great. Knife is very sharp and has never been used or carried. This is new/old stock and came bulk package without box, papers or sheath. I am however including a nice nylon sheath with the knife. Handle strap on sheath is a little long but can be modified to fit. I have sold dozens of these with nothing but complements on the knife from those who got them.
