This classic Imperial Is in unboxed mint Condition. It is a Kit Carson Trail Blazer series. The knife was found wraped in the 1988 newspaper in photos and it comes with the knife. It is not from when the knife was made just when it was put in a trunk and stored in the attic. I can only assume something hapened to the box. The knife has never been put in its sheath. Tang stamp is a 2 line IMPERIAL PROV.RI.USA .This knife is an early model as the Original sheath is a Vinyl  Transitional sheath having both the slits in Leather for a belt as well as the folded  belt loop and compression handle scale pins.The later models had a leather sheath and rivited handle scales .
