This is a very Rare find it is a complete Imperial Kit Carson package knife. In  mint condition, When I got the knife it had been stored in it's sheath.I would have to say it may have been carried at one time but never used. The white blade etch Signature is very visible however the blade still shines so bright it does not show in photos. This kinfe comes with the original packaging. it has the knife, sheath, Kit Carson knife history information, Protective anti corrosion blade sleeve, a stick on the box add on for use as a store display that tells the knife info. and of course the Box..( Imperial, Ulster and Schrade were all owned by Albert and Henry Baer) They often shared materials and tooling.This knife actualy uses the  Schrade Walden 148 Blade style and the same Delrine as the Schrade Uncle Henry knives. The Original sheath is a Transitional sheath having both the slits in Leather for a belt as well as the folded leather belt loop.
