THIS IS THE LAST ONE OF THE BUFFALO HORN KODIAK'S I HAVE LEFT !!!
This is a Case XX Kodiak pattern fixed blade hunter, handled in Genuine Buffalo Horn
Knife is 10 1/2" OAL with a 5 7/8" blade. Blade has a Kodiak bear etched into it
The back side of the handle has some Beautiful tan, and white swirls in the bone
Knife is Mint in original box with original leather sheath and papers
Now this is just my opinion. But being that fixed blade knives make up 70% of my entire knife collection, I have had more than a few in my hands over the years. I believe that as production knives go, other than a few of Marble's designs, the Case Kodiak Hunter handled in Buffalo or Stag is one the best feeling, handleing fixed blade knives you can get a grip on for dressing and general purpose carry. The jigging on the handle is soft, if you will. Feels great in your hand. It is also a very thick handled knife, with a great purchase to it.
I have been hearing for a year or two that Buffalo Horn could follow Stag as an Embargoed material. If that were to happen, this would be an extra nice piece to have put up !!!
