Here's the Marbles Plainsman Hunter folk's, and when it was made and what materials are in it, I would challenge ya to buy a better fixed blade hunter from any USA Knife Co. for 120 bucks that includes a quality leather sheath !!!
Knife was made back in 1999 in the old Marbles factory when Mike Stewart headed Marbles knife division. I truly believe from 1997-2002, Marbles made some of their best knives in their 111 yr history
Knife is 8 3/4" OAL with a 4 3/8" blade
Blade is 52/100 high carbon steel which took 3-1st, 1-2nd, 1-5th place finish in the ABS sponsored World Championship cutting contest
The blade thickness at the hilt is .213 thousands thick. Thats double most knives folk's, .045 thicker than Case's Kodiak !!!
Blade is stamped: Marbles, Gladstone, MI. USA
Scales are solid Curly Maple
Pommel is aluminum
Comes to ya New, in the old Marbles Bobcat box
Also has its Original stamped Marbles oil tanned leather sheath
