Folk's, I got just a Dandy hunting knife for Y'all here, coming to ya from an American knife company that been around for well over 100 yrs. And priced below 100 bucks, with a handle shape that just will blow ya away when you get it in your hand
This is the Marbles Plainsman, made in Gladstone, Michigan, USA. They made knives here in Michigan since 1898 !!!
Knife is 9 1/8" OAL with a 4 3/4" blade
Compare the thickness of this blade right at the hilt to a Case XX Kodiak. The Kodiak is .175 thick, this Marbles Plainsman is is .180 thick. Nice heavy blade , yet lightweight with the wood handles
The handle is just gorgeous Cocobolo wood with a killer grain in it, (see pics)
CoCobolo is the 2nd hardest wood in the world, and ultra durable. Comes mainly from Costa Rica, and will grow in value with its scarcity
It is designed so well , rather you are holding it in a defensive postion, or you have it turned upside down with your thumb against the brass guard as you would to dress out a big game animal, it is just flat out, ultra comfortable
Blade is stamped Marbles as is the deep oil tanned Original sheath
Comes to ya new in the original Marbles box
If memory serves me right, this knife was made around 2002-2003 at the latest
Please supersize the pics on the next page for a closeup look at this great American hunting knife
