SHEATH: Original leather sheath, stitched and riveted.
CONDITION: Good. Guard, handle and pommel are all tight with no wiggle.
BLADE WEAR: It appears to be mostly full.
AGE: 1966 to 1977 per stamping on guard
MADE IN: Boulder Colorado, USA
DAMAGE: Small hole at bottom of sheath from someone trying to sheath the knife when reversed. This also cut the stitching between the two bottom rivets. Sharpening marks on blade. General scuffing from use.
ADDITIONAL INFO: Great old carbon steel knife! Western made some of the best carbon steel of any of the old American knife makers, in my opinion. I would not be selling this one, except that I have another L36 that is my personal hunting knife.
