ADDITIONAL INFO:
This knife is new old stock. It has not been used. It came to me in a Western Box with paperwork from the Camillus factory. If this were the correct box for the knife, it would date the knife after 1991. However, I cannot find where Camillus sold this pattern after they bought Western. In that case it should have a letter code to date the year it was made in the Western factory, but alas, it has no letter code. The only explanations I can think of are that:
A. It is a transition knife. Perhaps a work in progress in the Western factory that was finished at Camillus after they bought Western, and consequently packaged in a Camillus-Western box.
B. The possibility always exists that someone put the knife in the wrong box.
Whatever the reason or the box, the fact remains that you will get a new high quality Western knife. Suitable for display or riding around all day in your pocket, ready at a moments notice to help you with your cutting chores.
