This is a new old stock Schrade Simon SS1AB, The AB stands for “all “black” as this model came in several different finishes. This knife is a frame lock with a spring-loaded clip at the rear to clip it onto a key chain. When closed the edge is enclosed in a “V” of steel that protects the cutting edge and the user. I have used and carried this model. It is light in weight and carries nicely on a key chain. Probably it’s greatest value is that of a collectable as they have not been made in 5 years.
