MAKER : IXL by George Wostenholm
PATTERN : Single bladed leverlock.
CLOSED LENGTH : 5 1/8th inches long.
HANDLES : Rough black with no cracks and no chips.
TANG STAMPS : IXL GEORGE (over) WOSTENHOLM (over) SHEFFIELD (over) ENGLAND. The back side of the tang is stamped OIL THE JOINTS. CONDITION : I do not believe this knife has ever been carried, used or sharpened.
DAMAGE : None AGE : 1930 to 1971
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN : England
BLADE WEAR : None
SHIELD AND BLADE ETCH : There is a bar shield and no etch.
SNAP : The blade locks tight on the open and closes with a nice snap. ADDITIONAL INFO : Unusual to see one of these in this condition and I will deliver this knife to you in the USA by Priority Mail for $200.00. Insurance is optional with the buyer and is recommended.
