PATTERN : 6254,Trapper.
CLOSED LENGTH : 4 1/4 inches long.
HANDLES : Jigged Red Bone with no cracks and no chips.
TANG STAMPS : The tang of the clip blade is stamped with the curved CASE BROTHERS (over) CUTLERY (over) CO. Tang of the spey blade is stamped USA (over) 6254 (over) SS.
CONDITION : Mint in the original tin box and with the original paper sleeve.
DAMAGE : None.
AGE : Likely before 2005. I read that beginning in 2005 that Case started dating these.
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN : USA.
BLADE WEAR : None.
BLADE ETCH AND SHIELD : The clip blade is etched CASE BROTHERS in large letters that cover the length of the blade. The spey blade is stamped or etched with the long tailed 'C'(over) XX and within the 'C' is 1ST RUN. The shield is a badge type shield.
SNAP: Excellent, both opening and closing on both blades.
ADDITIONAL INFO : The first photo shows the tin that this knife came in and the 2nd shows the paper sleeve. The sleeve shows a little wear at the edges but is very much intact.
