MAKER : Miller Bros Cut Co
PATTERN : Pen knife.
CLOSED LENGTH : 3 3/4 inches long.
HANDLES : Pre Ban Ivory with no cracks and no chips. PLUS, it is attached by very small screws.
TANG STAMPS : Tangs of both blades are stamped with the curved MILLER BROS (over) CUT CO (over) MERIDEN. The last line is difficult to make out but I am reasonably sure I got it right.
CONDITION : Very nice. There is minor blade loss and I believe there has been some minor cleaning done. The important thing is that the handles are in excellent shape.
DAMAGE : None.
AGE : 1863-1926
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN : USA
BLADE WEAR : Minimal, 10% at most.
BLADE ETCH AND SHIELD : It has neither.
SNAP: Excellent on both blades, opening and closing and with strong half stops.
ADDITIONAL INFO : An outstanding knife that you will not come across very often.
