PATTERN : Single Blade Lock Back or Lever Lock
CLOSED LENGTH : 4 5/8th inches long, not including bail.
HANDLES : Rough Black of the type used by IXL on many of their knives during this period. There are no cracks and no chips.
TANG STAMPS : The tang of the single blade is stamped IXL GEORGE (over) WOSTENHOLM(over) SHEFFIELD (over) ENGLAND. the back side of the tang is stamped OIL THE JOINTS.
CONDITION : Very good. The blade is stained and used but minimal if any blade loss is noted.
DAMAGE : None.
AGE : 1930 - 1971
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN : Sheffield, England.
BLADE WEAR : Minimal, if any.
BLADE ETCH AND SHIELD : There is a long bar shield and no etch.
ADDITIONAL INFO : Great old knife by a quality maker. It has had some use and there is a little wobble in the open position. This one is priced to sell at $125 and I'll pay the Priority mailing in the USA.
