Item # 20178 - Ozarks-1 Handcarved - Down South

Ok, these probably aren't true fish decoys as we know them up here in Minnesota, but I think they are kind of neat. Many years ago my wife & daughters and I traveled to Fort LeonardWood, Mo. to attend my son's graduation from Army Basic Training. While going through the Ozarks we were going through a quaint little town with a very small park across from the courthouse. These two elderly gentlemen (brothers) had out their old pocket knives & were busy whittling away on a supply of branches & twigs piled near by. They had carved these the day before & painted on a coat of varnish.
