This is a Shapleigh G1544 3/4 Hunters Pride. Its a single blade swing guard measuring 4 7/8" closed. The blade is stamped SHAPLEIGH over a diamond with D-E inside over HDW CO on the front and US PATS over DEC 21, 09 over SEPT 13, 10 over JUNE 6, 16 on the rear. The knife has Stagged Celluloid Handles with Steel Bolsters & Liners. The Guards are Nickel Silver. The handles show shrinkage and cracks at the top pins but otherwise are in Very Good Condition. Blade has been cleaned and shows about 15-20% loss. Blade sits a bit high in the closed position. Blade snaps open a little lazy and has 1/4" vertical and 1/8" side play.
