The Special Hunter was brought out by Marble's many years ago.  This classic design was just too good to die.  Dave Shirley of Northwoods Knives had a run of the Special Hunters made in 2003.  You'll find that this knife is a great all around knife capable of handling any camping or hunting chores.  The Special Hunter is made from 52-100 steel.  The 5" blade is .220" thick.  Overall knife length is 9 1/2".  The handle is black linen micarta with brass pins and a tapered tang.  The blade is marked "Northwoods Knives, Gladstone, Mich, USA" and "Custom 2003".  This knife is NIB with a brown leather sheath.  There are not many of these knives left on the market, so grab this one while you can.
