Folk's, I have just a gorgeous customized knife for ya here from the world famous David Yellowhorse This is the 1998 3rd edition in the Silver Series from David Yellowhorse titled "Sacred Buffalo" This knife is dedicated to what was the most important part of the Native American plains tribes culture:The Buffalo.The Sioux and Cheyenne were often refered to as a Buffalo Culture. They depended on the buffalo to sustain a total way of life. Food, shelter, clothing, weapons, cooking utensials, everything came from this incredible animal. The Lakota Sioux name for the buffalo was P'tay.I am sure that they as a nation appreciate it very much that David Yellowhorse chose to make a knife to honor The Sacred Buffalo Knife is 3 1/4" closed with a 2 1/4" blade Scales are made of .925 sterling silver with a total weight of 1 troy ounce They are adorned on "both sides" with turquoise, black jet, and orange spiney oyster stones. There is a Buffalo in the middle and "both" sides are finished the same way Blade etch has the famous David Yellowhorse horse head logo, as well as an etch of his signiture.This knife also has the D Y tang stamp This is a serial numbered piece, this one being # 2357. One (1) of 2500 made Comes to you in the original display box and a Certificate Of Authenticity, "See Pics" "NOTE" It cannot be seen in the pics, but the black jet stone on the right on the front of the knife is chipped out and most of it is missing. Its hard to tell even in your hand, so take this into account
