Item # 17344 - ONE (1) PAIR OF LARGE STAG KNIFE SCALES - VERY NICE !!!
5_17344_1233087801_1.JPG
Larger Pictures / More Details

Here is one (1) pair of large Stag knife scales for knife making

These Stag scales are a great color and have real nice roughed out bark on both pieces

These scales are a good size and I believe would fit a large folder or fixed blade knife

Scales measure 3 1/2" in length, 1 1/4" wide, and are about 3/8" thick on the ends

I know nothing about knife making, but I was a machinist and have a pair of dial calipers. If you need to know the exact measurements anywhere on these scales to see if they would work for you, I could measure them in thousands (.000) Just give me a holler

Item # 16457 - SPYDERCO AMERICAN PRIDE C-72 FOLDER W/ AMERICAN FLAG INLAY-DISCONTINUED- VERY NICE !!!
5_16457_1229367198_1.JPG
Larger Pictures / More Details

Here's just a cool little knife folk's, from the innovative folk's at Spyderco

This knife was Spyderco's FIRST non-locking folder they ever made. This knife has been discontinued for some time now, and I have not saw any on ebay for a while

This is the Spyderco - Pride - C72, non-locking slip joint folder

Knife is 3 1/2" closed

Blade is 2 1/2 in length. Blade is made of AUS-6 stainless steel. Blade is stamped: SPYDERCO AUS-6 STAINLESS on the front side and SEKI-CITY JAPAN on the off side

Knife has the half stop opening-closing postion, and is hollow ground with a nice big thumb hole pull for easy opening

Handles are silver finished aluminum, and have "The American Flag" inlayed into the handle

Has stainless steel pocket clip mounted for tip down carry.

I picked this up at a show several yrs ago after the seller told me it was the 1st knife they made that was not a locking knife, plus I loved the flag inlay in the handles. He also told me because of the blade length, non-locking feature, it was Legal to carry in more countries in the world than any knife he knew of

Comes to ya new in original Spyderco box and papers

Larger Pictures / More Details

Folk's, I got just a Dandy hunting knife for Y'all here, coming to ya from an American knife company that been around for well over 100 yrs. And priced  below 100 bucks, with a handle shape that just will blow ya away when you get it in your hand

This is the Marbles Plainsman, made in Gladstone, Michigan, USA. They made knives here in Michigan since 1898 !!!

Knife is 9 1/8" OAL with a 4 3/4" blade

Compare the thickness of this blade right at the hilt to a Case XX Kodiak. The Kodiak is .175 thick, this Marbles Plainsman is is .180 thick. Nice heavy blade , yet lightweight with the wood handles

The handle is just gorgeous Cocobolo wood with a killer grain in it, (see pics)

CoCobolo is the 2nd hardest wood in the world, and ultra durable. Comes mainly from Costa Rica, and will grow in value with its scarcity

It is designed so well , rather you are holding it in a defensive postion, or you have it turned upside down with your thumb against the brass guard as you would to dress out a big game animal, it is just flat out, ultra comfortable

Blade is stamped Marbles as is the deep oil tanned Original sheath

Comes to ya new in the original Marbles box

If memory serves me right, this knife was made around 2002-2003 at the latest

5_16366_1228770121_1.JPG
Larger Pictures / More Details

Folk's, I have just a gorgeous customized knife for ya here from the world famous David Yellowhorse

This is the 1998 3rd edition in the Silver Series from David Yellowhorse titled "Sacred Buffalo"

This knife is dedicated to what was the most important part of the Native American plains tribes culture:The Buffalo. The Sioux and Cheyenne were often refered to as a Buffalo Culture. They depended on the buffalo to sustain a total way of life. Food, shelter, clothing, weapons, cooking utensials, everything came from this incredible animal. The Lakota Sioux name for the buffalo was P'tay.I am sure that they as a nation appreciate it very much that David Yellowhorse chose to make a knife to honor The Sacred Buffalo

Knife is 3 1/4" closed with a 2 1/4" blade

Scales are made of .925 sterling silver with a total weight of 1 troy ounce

They are adorned on "both sides" with turquoise, black jet, and orange spiney oyster stones. There is a Buffalo in the middle and "both" sides are finished the same way

Blade etch has the famous David Yellowhorse horse head logo, as well as an etch of his signiture. This knife also has the D Y tang stamp

This is a serial numbered piece, this one being # 2357. One (1) of 2500 made

Comes to you in the original display box and a Certificate Of Authenticity, "See Pics"

"NOTE" It cannot be seen in the pics, but the black jet stone on the right on the front of the knife is chipped out and most of it is missing. Its hard to tell even in your hand, so take this into account

Larger Pictures / More Details

Folk's, if you are lookin to purchase a high quality American hunting knife without the custom knife price, boy do I have a dandy one for ya here

This has been in storage for 6 yrs and going from the brass guard back spacer sequence of black, brass, red, white, red, brass, black, I presume this to be about a 5 - 6 yr old knife, made in 2002 - 2003. Thats a good thing, as I believe Marbles was still using the old high carbon steel, and you can tell when you hold this one it is sharp and will take on a scary edge

This is the Marbles Plainsman Pattern fixed blade hunter

This knife was made in Gladstone, Michigan, USA

It is scaled in gorgeous genuine Autumn-Red Bone and both sides are pictured on the next page The bone is a nicer color red, but the sun don't shine here in Michigan during the winter, so it is not showing up. Also at the top and bottom, the bone has a beautiful goldish color to it, thus the Autumn-Red Bone

Knife is 9" OAL with a high carbon 4 1/4" blade with the Marbles stamp

Comes to ya New in Original Marbles box, with the Original deep oil tanned Marbles leather sheath with the Marbles stamp in it. It also has the internal cut guard that protects cutting the sheath and keeps the blade from touching the leather

Please scroll down and supersize the pics on next the page

Folk's, its of my opinion that for around 100 bucks, you just cannot get a better well made American hunting knife that you can use and then hand it down to the next generation for service !!!

Larger Pictures / More Details

Folk's, I do not usually sell imported knives. I try to stick with USA only. But being a fixed blade lover, when I saw these I just had to pick up a couple sets. They would be a great set for the hunter, so you did not booger up your good knives, or for a young lad or lass just gettin into hunting

This is a really cool set of Rough Rider knives and they are imported from china

Both knives are full tang construction, have stainless steel blades, resin impregnated wood handles, stainless steel pins

The skinner is 8 1/2" OAL and the smaller knife is 7 1/2" OAL. You have all you need to gut, skin, and cut up a large game animal such as deer, etc. They also come "very sharp" and are ready to go into the field for chores right now

Handles have a cool brass shield shaped like the old long rifles of the 1750-1850 period. Both knives also have a blade etch that says Long Rifle

Both knives come and fit into a really thick leather double sheath for carrying. The heavy duty strap on the back snaps loose so you do not have to undue your belt to put the sheath on it, real nice feature

Knives and Sheath come to you new in the Long Rifle box

All in all, I have to admit, I was very pleased with the workmenship in this set for the money. It is the Only imported knives I have offered, and I think it is a really cool hunting set, scroll down on the next page and see the pics and decide for yourself
