The main reason I decided to offer this loupe is because it IS NOT one of those dinky loupes that are hard to hold, much less use. The diameter of the glass on this loupe is 1-1/8", about twice or more as large as others I have seen, and unfortuately ordered before, only to toss them. All I have back heard on these is that they are a good size for the pocket, and they are easier to hold. They also offer the choice of magnification powers, simply by adding or moving one of the glasses (they are REAL GLASS reticles, not plastic,)this loupe is fantastic for looking at all of those small things you have trouble focusing on, or seeing with the naked eye. The 2 different, optical, hinged glasses allow the user to view in 5x with one glass, 10x with the other glass, or 15x with both put together with the brass hinge. All the jeweler's loupe you will ever need, and its got the large reticle to make it easy to see the small stuff without needing to hold it and the item so close to your eye. It folds neatly back into its attached case for secure portability.
