ADDITIONAL INFO:
This is a beautiful old knife from around the time of WWII. The PAL BLADE CO. stamp as only used from 1940 to 1945 According to Goin’s. As you may know, during the War, most knife production went toward the war effort. This knife is unique in the regard that it seems to have been produced for the Civilian market. It is a beautiful knife that has obviously seen it’s fair share of work. While it still has plenty of life in it, I think it will make a fine addition to someone’s collection where it can set there and look pretty.

Item # 20625 - SCHRADE OLD TIMER – 24OTX |
Larger Pictures / More Details
|
Here is one of the hardest to find of the newer Schrade Old Timer models. It was made only for about a year and sold exclusively by Wal-Mart. With black Delrin handles and brass bolsters this one of the prettiest Old Timers ever made. To top it off Schrade coated the blades with titanium nitrate to give it a unique look. Unfortunately someone has used this knife. The blades appear to be full, but do show some scratches on them from use.
************************************************************
Length - 3-5/16”
Construction – Single backspringSwinden Key construction.
Blades -Titanium nitrate coated clip & pen blades of Schrade + steel
Handles – Black Delrin

|
MAKER: Camillus
PATTERN: TL-29/Electricuan’s Knife
CLOSED LENGTH: 3-3/4 inches
HANDLES: Black Delrin
BLADES: Carbon steel spear master and screwdriver/wire stripper blades. Master blade appears to still have the factory edge.

LINERS: Brass
TANG STAMPS: CAMCO (arched)/USA
MECHANISM: Slipjoing with liner lock for secondary blade.
CONDITION: Very Good
DAMAGE: Some pitting on the spine of the main blade. Minot scuffs to handles & bolsters. It looks more like it sat in a drawer than rode in a pocket.
AGE: Est. 25 years or older.
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: USA
BLADE WEAR: Master blade appears 100%. Secondary is full.
SHIELD: None
SNAP: Very strong on both blade. Half stops on both blades.
ADDITIONAL INFO:
This is an excellent example of a typical Mil-Spec type TL-29. Since it has the CAMCO tang stamp as opposed to the Camillus stamp, it is a more difficult knife to find. While not mint, this knife is in very good to excellent condition. It is suitable for display in a collection or to carry everyday and use as a tool.

Item # 20612 - PAL CUTLERY CO. – Camper |
Larger Pictures / More Details
|
MAKER: Pal Cutlery Co.
PATTERN: Camper
CLOSED LENGTH: 3-3/4 inches
BOLSTERS: Steel
LINERS: Steel
HANDLES: Jigged composite
TANG STAMPS: PAL CUTLERY CO. (in an arch)/MADE/IN U.S.A.
CONDITION: Good
DAMAGE: Some pitting on main blade and can opener. Very little shrinkage if handles. Minor pitting of bolsters.
AGE: 1945-1953
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: USA
BLADE WEAR: Little wear. Has been sharpened. Blade 95%+
HALF STOPS: Solid half stops an all blades except the punch.
SNAP: Strong snap on all blades with a bit less on the punch owing to the lack of half stop in that blade.
ADDITIONAL INFO:
This old knife is in remarkably good condition considering it is at least 56 years old and has steel liners and bolsters. I had to buff this knife to stop the active surface rust. It snaps like a bear trap on all blades except the punch, which still has a strong snap (just not a bear trap). There is some pitting on the main blade but it is not too bad. Most of these knives I find are badly rusted and pitted and most have about 50% of the main blade left. This knife is the happy exception to that rule.

MAKER: Craftsman, made by Camillus
PATTERN: Dog Leg Jack
CLOSED LENGTH: 2-13/16 inches
HANDLES: Laminated Hardwood
TANG STAMPS: CRAFTSMAN/U.S.A./95236
CONDITION: New old stock in box with papers
DAMAGE: None noted on knife, some wear to the box

SHIELD & BLADE ETCH: None
SNAP: Excellent
ADDITIONAL INFO: This knife is new old stock from the Camillus sale of 2007. These knives are new in the box with Craftsman sharpening instructions, Care and Use instructions and Craftsman Warranty. The person I bought these from thought Schrade made them. However, when I got them and examined them I could see the pin-through-bolster construction indicative of Camillus. Schrade knives were made with the Swinden Key system, and this knife is obviously not made with the Swinden Key. This is an excellent knife for pocket or display.

Item # 20162 - Camillus Knife Vise or Backspring Compressor |
Larger Pictures / More Details
|
This handy tool is one I make patterned after a tool that came from the Camillus cutlery factory after they closed. At Camillus they referred to this tool as a "knife vise."
This tool is used to compress the backsprings of a slip joint so you can reassemble the knife much easier, without needing three hands.
I have a tutorial on how to use this tool posted at:
http://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/knife_forum/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=10069
The tutorial has far more pictures than I can post on this listing. It also explains how to use the tool.

Item # 19950 - UNCLE HENRY 897UH - NOS |
Larger Pictures / More Details
|
Here is an 897UH, Uncle Henry, stockman pattern for sale. The knife is new old stock. It is still sealed in the clampack in which it left the factory. Included in the clampack is a Free Collector’s Pin for the International Hunter’s Education Association.
Included in the clampack are the paperwork for the knife and the Uncle Henry Registration Form for the One Year Loss Replacement Policy. Also included is paper having to do with the International Hunter Education Association, along with the IHEA pin.
The knife itself appears to be in mint condition, though the there are a few rub marks on the outside of the plastic clampack, possibly due to poor storage or from shipping. The graphic on the cardboard in the clampack would seem to indicate that it was packaged circa 2001-2002. This is an excellent knife to use or display. It can even be displayed in the clampack. A great addition to any collection. ~ ~ ~ ~ New old stock, still sealed in the clampack ~ ~ ~ ~ *** Made in USA.***

Item # 18887 - CUSTOM CAMILLUS 152 With Bubinga Wood Handles |
Larger Pictures / More Details
|
This knife is a Camillus version of the famous Schrade Sharpfinger. Camillus began the manufacture of this knife after Schrade closed in July, 2004. They had made many of the knives for Schrade since they were owned by the same family. Camillus closed it doors about 2 ½ years later in February of 2007. When Camillus closed there were some unfinished blanks sold. This knife is made from one of those blanks. The handle is Bubinga. The wood I used on this handle is a highly figured species also known as Waterfall Bubinga. This piece has some chatoyance to it similar to that found in Hawaiian Koa Wood. The effect is much like the old Waterfall Celluloid, where the grain seems almost to move or flow when held in the proper light and moved slowly. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ OAL 7 inches. The handles are glued to the tang to prevent moisture from getting between the tang and the handles. Mosaic pins made of brass & nickel silver also hold on the handles, (see close-up in picture 3). There is a hole for a lanyard lined with brass tubing. The knife is stamped Camillus/New York/U.S.A. The blade is etched with my name as the one who customized the knife. This knife comes with a nice leather sheath from Camillus. ***Made in the USA***
