My name is Michael Brown; I enjoy working with leather and steel. I put only top quality materials and workmanship into all my products. My leather products are made from Premium Live Oak and Oak-Leaf Tooling Leather. I use only oil dyes to dye my leather to ensure an even color, water resistant and they don't tend to change color when treated with leather preservatives. Some of my sheaths are lined with deer hide to protect the blade on our finest knives. Some of the strap keepers are also lined with deer hide. I hand stitch all of the leather products and bond all layers prior to stitching. I make many different leather Equine Products with these same qualities. When making knives I use steel billets from Alabama Damascus Steel. These billets are made from (3) layers of 52100, (4) layers of 5160, (3) layers of 203E, and (3) layers of 15N20 then folded 5 times for a total of 416 layers. I used different exotic woods and materials for the handles. I will also customize and refurbish knives.
