All About Pocket Knives

This knife was made by a cutlery with the name
Stålvaru AB

they were i buissiness between
1946 - 1954

Their first years they used a tang mark with a horseshoe and no other text than Eskilstuna. This knife is an example of that; its made about 1946 -48, or something like that.

It´s 90 mm. I´m not born with the inch system so I guess I´ll never learn what 90 mm would be in inches (divide with 25,4). Its in nice shape for its age and feels like new. I´ve played around with the camera bit, sorry if it is to many pictures but I think it has an unusually nice corkscrew

90mm is close to 3.6 inches.

the handlematerial is something that feels close to micarta. Perhaps it´s bakelite but I´m not sure that is what it really is. Common and classic material fort the type in the black version.
