Northwood Jacks

Northwood seems to make some great Jack knives. I was wondering if anybody might have a picture of many of the jacks together showing their similarities and differences.I think Fremont, Lincoln, Hawthorne, Broadway, Big Bay, Delta, Fayette, and Indian River Jacks are most of them. Also, which one do you like the best and why? Thanks.

Larry here are the Jack's that I have. From left to right: Fremont, gunstock, Hawthorne, Big bay, Indian river and Madison barlow.
Edit: Click on pic for proper perspective. ::facepalm::
And my favorite is the Hawthorne with it's slender handle and long clip. ::tu::

Thanks Mike! Those are just the Jack's. I still have that beautiful smooth bone sowbelly that I got from you and a mammoth stockman that I got from Kj.

Greg,
Thanks for showing us your collection. Many times we see knives posted in their own thread, but I thought it would be nice to see the different Jacks posted together. That way, we could see how they were similar or different. That Hawthorne is quite a looker and I bet it feels good in your pocket too with the slender handle.

Who else has some they would like to show?
Larry

Greg, thank you for the kind words. The #3 and #4 Fremonts are Giraffe. They do resemble Mammoth.

If someone happens to have an extra Mammoth and needs a Giraffe, please let me know.

WOW, Jerry......you hit it out of the park! That is a terrific assortment. I would have guessed numbers 3 and 4 were mammoth too. Giraffe can have so many different looks from plain to awesome. Both of yours are awesome. Is it dyed to look like that?

This one in my pocket this morning. Dave Shirley era straight jack. It's a 2nd for some reason. Wonderful stag, fit, finish, walk, talk. I payed $40 on the bay for it a long time ago. I'd love more good buys like that. ::super_happy::

Rob, another great looking knife ! Do you collect only GEC & Northwoods ? or do you have great stag knives from other manufacturers as well ?

I have to think about that. These days I'm all in on GEC and Northwoods, focussing on stag. I have a decent amount of proper Hen & Roosters, some Queen and Bluegrass Winchesters, a few Case and then just randoms. Some of the early 90s Winchesters are very similar to a good GEC due to company structures of the era.
