Here I am offering these eight book matching pairs of knife scales all collected from Pennsylvania and measure really close to 3/8"x2"x5". These are dry as well. Top row left to right two prs bm Black Cherry Burl, 1 BM pr curly crotch figured Red Maple, 1 BM Pr Mottled Figure Apple with a dash of spalt. Bottom row left to right 1 BM pr wild spalt figure Apple, 1 BM pr bold spalt figured Sugar Maple, and 2 BM prs figure black cherry loaded with Birds Eye. Very nice collection of scales here that would dress up some knives and help catch some eyes. Like to start things out at a $50.00 bid and will take highest bid by Saturday Sept 13, 2007 at 9 pm Eastern time. I be happy to ship free to the lower 48 USA states.

Thanks for having a great site.

I want to bid but just can not use them.

I think I will wait and have a handle redone by the winner of these.

So I guess I am adding to this auction.... ::ds:: ::ds::

Good day auction participants,

knifehandles has not come through on delivery of these scales. We've tried to contact him several times with no reply. I refunded Johnnie's payment. Does anybody know knifehandles outside of the forum? I hope all is well with him. Unfortunately, I'm going to hafta delete his post in the ad section and pull his knife auctions at knife-auction.com pending further details... ::shrug::

Thank you cncrndprsn07,
I appreciate your information. ::tu:: ::tu:: There are a few bad apples such as the one you pointed out that have problems following through with an auction. I do buy wood from many sources and often it is a first time buy.

Pointing out these folks is a generous act in a public forum and I read quite a few of the links. The link wasn't working so I fixed it for you.

Please take care to keep it to the FACTS as MesquiteMan, a Moderator at penturners.org offered his opinion. Also it would be appropriate to offer an informed OPINION based on facts. It's my opinion that your post here shows that you have done so and also on your blog. I mention that only to avoid legal troubles. I searched your blog and found nothing that would create such a problem for you in my opinion, based on Ca Law.

I think I will be looking carefully at sellers user names.

Welcome to AAPK ::welcome:: Have wood, sell it here, us knifers always have needs. ::tu::
