New to collecting Bokers

Im new to collecting Bokers and find they have become my favorite pocket knife.

You have some really nice ones there. Are the 3rd & 4th ones down in the right hand column English Jacks (4½" closed)? How about the bottom four in the left hand column? Are those medium jacks (3¼" closed).

I'm liking the looks of the middle knife in the bottom group. Can we see more of it (blades open, etc)? What is the closed length on that one?

Yes those are English jacks. The others are I believe swellend Jack's. Still learning. I'm not sure what one on the bottom row. I carry those 3. One is a large stockman.peanut & swelled Most ofThe others are unused and mint. I'll take pics with blades open. I've also acquired 4 more old bokers since this pic was taken.really enjoying AAPK

Mail call today. I'm officially bitten by the Boker Bug guys. Got these 4 today. Not as pretty as the rest of my collection but darn nice knives. All have great snap with no wobble. No cracks in bone. Very solid knives. I'm happy. And the best thing is I don't even have $100 in them.

Can someone tell me more about the equal end with no shield. Its in super shape but I was wondering what year it might be. Thanks for any help.

I'm guessing yours was made in the late 1940s to very early 1950s.

Thanks so much for the info Rangerblue. that's the # on the 2nd knife down in the pic and I was guessing they were probably the same. It looks like steel liners and bolsters also. the bone is gorgeous on it. Thank you greedygulo

Middle row, second from bottom. I have that one but don't know anything about it. I saw it online and had to have it! Can you tell me a little about it? Btw, very nice collection!

That one is from the Appaloosa series of handles that Boker introduced circa 2008.
Here is an image from their 2010 catalog.

This is a beautiful bone jigging. I think it was one of the first that was done on Bokers new CNC machining center at the Solingen knife works.
Another cool thing is they used 1075 carbon steel for the blades. That was kind of going against the current of stainless and exotic steels.
It's a throwback!

I'm surprised it's bone. It looks synthetic. Another plus for this purchase!
