I think it looks okay as an original pre-1940 Winchester speying knife. Is there a pattern #? What is the closed length?
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

I believe the first digit in a Winchester pattern number represents the number of blade so unless there is a second blade that I can't see I would have to assume that whoever made the knife was ignorant of the Winchester pattern numbering system.

Looking a little closer at the knife I'm not sure it's correct. I do know this eBay seller has sold some bad knives and does have several bad knives listed for sale. The pattern number is also a bad omen.
