Any ideas on who made this knife?

Post by bdev »

I've got a neat Pikes Peak souvenir pen knife but have no idea who made it. The only stamping on it is pictured below. A man doing something.
Any ideas? Thanks.

I really don't know either, but Dave would be surprised if it wasn't German.

I wonder if it's german?

Looks like the stamping might be a Genie rubbing a lamp.

If it's a man doing something, it must be German. They're always busy doing something. All the guys on the knife's scale are just standing around not doing anything. I'm starting to wonder if any of us have any real ideas who had the busy man logo'. I've never seen it before. ___Dave

Although I cannot decipher the mark it reminds me of either a D.Peres or an A.W.Wadsworth knife.

I have similar metal handled knives and they are all German made. This includes advertising knives for a USA business or park. I have wondered why an American knife company was not chosen to make those knives.

Robeson made such knives for insurance companies.

I think most, if not all, the Simons/Warden/White (Do I have that right?)knives were American made.
