I personally have no idea. Took a quick look through the C, G and M sections of Goins and did not see anything similar. If you post photos showing the entire knife, someone more knowledgeable may be better able to point you in the right direction.

Given the way monograms are sometimes done, with the initial for the surname largest and centrally located, I read that as "G.H.M."

And it looks like a modified sword or bayonet or fantasy styled custom.

Looking at Levine's list of custom makers, the only thing that comes close is a Charles H. Morris in Atmore, Alabama, but that is not the mark he described.

If we go with "H" as the last initial, Levine lists several possibilities, including Gil Hibben, although I do not know Hibben's middle name. That knife, however, certainly looks like something Hibben would have cooked up.

Levine shows no similar mark for Hibben, though.

Might check a listing for sword manufacturers.
