You know it ? it is a French knife which is like opinel but older. Same lock system : virole and a boxwood handle.

this is a new one but this type of knife exists since longer than the opinel

this is the oldest knife of France whose origins go up with the XVÂș century.

World Knives has some, including the navette. They are forged and the wood is air dried for five years.
