Just bought this on the bay. XELA Radio/Electrician's knife. Goins says: "c. 1910-1932 A trademark used my M.Klein & Sons.

Thanks, Joe. Reckon who made this one? Seller says that it is an Empire but I don't think so. I have six different makers of this type of "Radio" knife and the pin pattern of this one does not match any of them, including the Empire.

I like it! It's not only a nice knife - it's unusual, and looks like that pin placement should make a very strong knife frame. Especially important for a knife whose primary purpose is as a screwdriver. Sorry I have no clue who might have made it.

That's for the locking release, Tommy. I think it's referred to as a "back lock".

GD - Yours has a much cleaner stamp than the one I bought, but there's no doubt that they're from the same maker. Blades Guide says "knives by UTICA 1911-present, so, maybe UTICA??
