Thanks, Joe. ::tu:: Reckon who made this one? Seller says that it is an Empire but I don't think so. I have six different makers of this type of "Radio" knife and the pin pattern of this one does not match any of them, including the Empire.

Thanks fellerz. Well, GD, guess I don't need to transfer yours from your pile to mine now ::tu:: You got any idea as to who may have made these?? Doesn't look like they were any to particular about where they put the pins on these ::shrug::

I like it! ::tu:: It's not only a nice knife - it's unusual, and looks like that pin placement should make a very strong knife frame. Especially important for a knife whose primary purpose is as a screwdriver. Sorry I have no clue who might have made it.

Nice find!

Thank you. This type of knife (Radio/Electrician's) is as close to a collection as my pile gets. And the search begins again. Thanks, Charlie, for the head's-up on this one ::tu:: ::tu::

Hey Dale, scroll almost to the bottom and see the XELA that garddogg has:

That's for the locking release, Tommy. I think it's referred to as a "back lock".

GD - Yours has a much cleaner stamp than the one I bought, but there's no doubt that they're from the same maker. ::tu:: Blades Guide says "knives by UTICA 1911-present, so, maybe UTICA??
