York-Dutch-Barlow Solingen

Another find that came out of Solingen dark factory corners. I suppose this is again a slight reject but what the heck - yesterdays reject is tomorrows gem! The brand is "York-Dutch-Barlow" which may be a retailers brand.

Handles a real bone and bolster are carbon steel. Not bad for a mere eight Euros either....

@tendots: I suppose you´re right. The speyblade isn´t very common here in Germany so I think this Barlow was made for export and meant as a user too.

Have you ever seen a Richartz Solingen like this? I can't find any information about it. It doesn't look as nice as the other Solingens I've seen on here.

Those Richartz sports knives show up regularly in used or new condition on the German Ebay. As you´ve said there are more attractive knives than the little Richartz to find but I suppose it is made of quality steel nevertheless.
