Very nice! I have two. A Delica4 FRN and an Endura4 FRN. Both are exceptional knifes, bot VG-10, and my first tacticool knives. I never thought I'd like a knife like these, but they are two of the handiest, best made knives I've ever had.

Colonel I believe your two models have been huge sellers for Spyderco. (I have a variety of knives produced in Japan and have never been disappointed with any of them. Lots of talent there.)

Very Nice! Spyderco's are one of my favorite EDC Brands. Even the Cheap Byrd Line are Great users. At last count I have accumulated 22 assorted Spydies. I will have to Drag them out for a photo when I have time. Here are a few from when I first started out.

The only one that I have that I carried for several years. One of the original patterns, a CO4 Executive.

These are my Spyderco knives.The SpyderCard was the only one I bought new and is in my wallet constantly.The others were purchased at various flea markets very reasonably;in fact most of them cost $5 except for the Police model which was $8.

I have always liked the "'VG-10" steel---takes a wicked edge*** maybe because it's thin ??

Okay, aren't all Spydercos made in Japan? I have never seen one not made there.

My Spyderco "Stretch" was made in Seki City, Japan.
My Spyderco "Tenacious" was made in China.
My Spyderco "Native" was made in Golden, Colorado, USA, Earth. (Says so right on the tang)

I'm not certain if there are other manufacturing locations for them.

The Spyderco catalog lists all Countries of origin, on the far right hand tab. For a company like Spyderco, the Country of origin is almost secondary because their Quality Control is so Dog Gone Good!

All mine are Japanese. But if the USA made ones are any better they'd have to be down right amazing. I've heard the chicom ones are great, I don't own any out of principal though.

Spyderco definitely seems to be the best at quality control. I wish we could get USA makers of traditional folders to make their knives with the same f/f that spyderco Japanese knives have.

I've never owned a syderco knife, what model would would someone recommend for a edc? I think I'm going to give one a try, I hear nothing but good things about them.

If you don't want to spend a lot of money on your first Spydie, try the Spyderco Tenacious. It's a very well built knife.

I'd recommend the Delica4 or Endura4. Way more knife than the pride would indicate. Do shop Amazin though. You can get done real deals there.
