All About Pocket Knives

But I can not fined the BKC# on it can any one tell me what it is.Any other information would be very good to.Thank you.

BKC #666 3RD GENERATION KNIFE PRODUCED IN 1993. Coonstripe handles are a stable material. Nice knife.

Tom, are those coonstripe handles celluloid or just a more stable color of celluloid from your experiences with them?

I am not really sure if they are celluloid or some other plastic or composite. I only know that in the Bulldog line, certain handle variations hold up a lot better than others. The ones that cause the most trouble are tobacco brown, light tortoise, imitation abalone, red sparkle, and end of day. On the other end of the spectrum, Coon Stripe, Dark Butter & molasses, Gold Dust, Dark Tortorise, and Old Marble rarely cause any problems. I don't know why.
I am sure storage and and taking care of the knives also plays a big part.
Wish I knew more but hope that this helps some.
