I found this in a shop near Austin Texas. Its 3 1/8 inches closed, has half stop, tight spring, good snap, but a some side play when fully open. Its maked Spear Cutlery Co. Germany on the front of the tang and a cross design I'm not familiar with on the back. I didn't see any other Spear Cutlery knives posted so I thought I would put this one out here. Goins' list Spear Cutlery Co. as being in operation about 1907 but no other details. Feel free to add other Spears or details, I would be interested. This is my first attempt at a post with pics so please bear with me and my picture taking skills.

That's a fine looking EZ-Open and it appears to be in excellent condition for it's age. You have yourself a good one there.
