german eye lock blade trappper?

Hi guys. I recently was given a German eye. I am not a knife collector but always keep a good knife on hand around the vineyards. Upon seeing this knife I knew it was a good one. So to get to the point it looks like a lock blade trapper I saw on the aapk store but is an inch longer than the one listed. Mine measure 4 3/4 closed. I would like to know if it is another version of the trapper and anything else anyone knows. I have not been able to find another one of the same measurements. There is not a model or serial number on the blade, just etched "Carl schlieper solingen - Germany stainless" and stamped closer to the handle with solingen Germany stainless. By reading through this forum it appears to be one made before 81. Sorry I can't get my phone to upload the pics. I will try from my PC tomorrow. Any and all info much appreciated
