Does anyone have a photocopy of page#34 from the black reproduction book?
That is the three knives being made in the Heritage series this year.
All stockman patterns: Cattleman, Premium Stockman, and Woodsman.
All three in ebony and bone, for a total of six knives.
On a side note the F&W will now be in Golden Wormgroove: next knife = clasp, mid year knife = heavy jack.

Thank you Jim. There are the 2012 knives.
Surprisingly enough, it appears as if the price will be similar to the 1 & 2 bladers from last year.

What constitutes a "clasp knife"? I've heard that all my life but never stopped to question it until now. I did a search on "clasp knife" on eBay and it seems most everyone who used that nomenclature displayed a large single blade knife. So, what say you?? What do you think we can expect out of Queen Cutlery for their first half 2012, F&W offering?
BTW, I hope that Heritage Series Cattleman looks exactly like the picture. I like what I can see of that knife.

A clasp to me is a Case 72 model. Haven't seen the name used on others that much myself. They are nearly always single blade. Since Queen made the Case Classic runs, theirs should be fairly close.
Do you have some reason to think it would be different from all of your search results?

Not at all. The only reason is the propensity of people to apply what they think are generic terms. You know. Kleenex, IBM, jack knife, etc...

Thanks for the info Mike!!

Page 34 looks sweet to my eyes.
And the next handle material in the File & Wire Series will Be Golden Wormgroove, that sounds interesting. Sure hope it turns out well.
But it sounds like back to BIG knives in that Series. Oh well maybe just the 1st edition will be a BIG knife.
Thanks again Mike.

Do you have any info on the regular Queen lines in D2 with amber stag bone and curly zebra? Will they change these for 2012? I read some place that they will be discontinued.
Thanks

Hey Mike. One more question. Was 2010 the last year for the Series Knives?

I haven't heard of any changes. Although it is probably not something they would give a lot of notice on; but it would seem quite silly to discontinue these core lines. Once they do that, the rest of their catalog items can be made on the weekends....
Yes, the yearly keystone series are gone. There will still be an sfo here and there with the shield, but the series is now Heritage.

Not only have I not heard a date, but with Queen's track record of slipping dates, I wouldn't repeat it if I did

I'm sure Queen is not "discontinuing" their "core lines" Someone was just talking about the handle material, which Queen does change from time to time on their "core lines."
Clarence Risner owns the Keystone shield now & he will have some SFOs in the future.
