EUROPEAN TOBACCO/SPICES 5 INCH KNIFE SHAPE

Description Given: A VERY INTERESTING SHAPE KNIFE. KIND OF A THICK HAND FORGED BLADE CARVED END AND BELEIVE USED FOR TOBACCO OR SPICES. MEASURES 5 INCHES. AND IS JUST AS FOUND NO DAMAGE OR REPAIRS. WOULD FIT INTO A DISPLAY OF PRIMITIVES OR RIFLEMANS ITEMS. GOOD 18TH CENTURY EUROPEAN MADE PIECE.

Questions: Has anyone seen such a knife ? Do you feel it's European ? Do you feel the age listed is correct for this knife ? It's edge is tapered but rather blunt. It's not very large but is without a doubt hand forged. No markings on the blade, so it is a handmade "folk art" sort of construction. I like it it is unusual and fits well with my slowly becoming very eclectic knife collection.

Stan,
I have knives very similar to the two smaller ones in your picture. Pictures soon. (tomorrow)

Also, my son worked with "Fat Tire Bike Tours" in Paris a couple years ago. He loved it.
