All About Pocket Knives

hi there, first time poster here so please be kind

i am trying to find out more about my knife. its a few years old now, the guy i purchased it from said that he originally purchased it in England from a knife maker but cant remember who.

im hoping someone will recognize the work, i know the handle is made from asiatic buffalo horn with red and blue fibers inlaid and brass bands and pommel, there is some file work on the blade, also it has a full tang and im told its 512 layers. there are no other markings on the knife

Looks like standard Asian production damascus to me. Probably a Pakistani or Indian blade blank that was assembled into a "custom".

Very hard to say what you have there edge (as far as maker). It's a hidden tang "gut hook" skinner with sectioned handles, decent job on the finish.

A full tang has slab handles you can see the top and bottom edges of the steel the length the handle.
