Currey Rigger

I found this at a marine consignment store down on the coast. According to the Captain Currey website, "Captain Charles Currey, CBE, RN, established his company in 1946 by redesigning the Royal Navy knife and making it in stainless steel so that it would not corrode. It therefore became more suitable for use by dinghy sailors and yachtsmen alike. As part of this redesign, Captain Currey invented the famous 'Lockspike' action and the patented 'Shackle Opening Slot.' Today the company continues to make the world famous Currey Lockspike knives, Rigging Tools and safety harness buckles."

That said, it looks like their main business nowadays is making and selling tweedy "Country Squire" style clothes. They do have a small collection of riggers, spikes and fids.
