old boker?

Hi all,
Out of curiosity, I picked this up at a flea market. Has anyone seen an old congrees like this one?

Looks a lot like one I saw for sale on ebay recently.
Could possibly be one of these models. This is reproduced from an old pre-WW1 catalog.
Not saying your knife is that old, just looks like a similar pattern.

The shield is not worn much nor are the pins or bolsters.
But the blades have been ground down to the owners liking.
Perhaps for his son or daughter to use. That way when they cut themselves it would not do much damage to their hand...

The BOKER tang stamp on this one dates it at least pre WW2.

Thanks, guys. The Boker on ebay has an identical shield as mine (wish it was in the same condition
) so at least I have an idea on the era. I exchanged emails with Hawke and he believes it's also pre-ww2. It's fun to learn the history on the old ones -- and share a few laughs, too!
BTW watched Outlaw Josey Wales the other night, hadn't seen it for a while, that quote from Granny is a classic.
