Something from Austria

I have had this little gem for some time, may 25 years, just like the other beauty I posted. The single clip blade is marked "United" over "Cutlery Co" over Austria. The handle material really shinned up nice. There are a few pits on the blade but all and all she's as good as the day she was made. Any information on this knife is welcome. My research material is short on this one.

Jonet, I did not find a pattern number on it, nor were there any other marks that might lead one to better identifying it further. Do you have the title of "Goins" that sounds like a worthwile reference material. Thanks, Mike

it's goin's encyclopedia of cutlery markings. it describes the tang mark only in the instance while the levine's reference is to who had the knife made. there probably was no united cutlery in austria, just a factory marking the knives they made for the n.y. importer.
yes it is a must have if you're serious about collecting knives.
