It's too bad it isn't original, but if it was I would have been doing quite a bit more work for it (or I may not have even gotten the chance at it ). I returned it back as close to factory as I could, the blade was prety chewed up when I got it, someone had stuck it on a grinder a long time ago. Here is another cell for "the sake of the thread". This one is a western black cell, funny shaped spey blade, makes me think it may have been sharpened a time or two, but it looks original. Regardless, it takes an edge that will scare you to death.
P.S Super nice HJ there, love that tortoise cell

richied just to up date you on the felling "lost your knife".
Did you know that is why Case started selling YELLOW pocket knifes.
So if you dropped it you could find it back EZER. Now that was I bit of good marketing back then. Logic rather then hype and cost. Now I see some many 200 or 100 or 50 of a kind made. This just makes me think.

Speaking of lost your knife, you ever shoot a buck at sunset and have to dress it out via the flash light. I picked up a couple scales of this from Masecraft:
Our newest material is “Moon Glow II” photo luminescent polyester sheet, which replaces our earlier acrylic version. This material is more uniform in thickness and less translucent while still exhibiting a bright, long lasting glow.
Rather than using the whole scale on a knife I would probably inlay it, use it on the butt of a knife, or as a spacer between guard and handle. It is for function, not asthetics. Yellow won't work if you drop it in the grass in California's "A zone" for deer the hills are all yellow, dead grass. No rain during our summer. No more, where is my **** knife.

I think a knife in moonglow would be fantastic Hukk. Like you I would like to see it inlayed, striped or some unsual swirl or maybe small understated trims at the bolsters. That would be pretty cool.

When Ken said lost your knife it reminded me of those scales. I don't have a plan yet as I have too many things going on. But in the next year I hope to have something that glows in the dark but toned down just enough to make it easy to see in the dark. There have been times where I tracked a buck for someone I guided for several hours. I stopped that because so many people can't shoot worth a plug nickel. We can shoot a buck 30 minutes after sunset, dang, you know you have to dress it out by flashlight. I always use a scope now, biggest buck I ever saw came out at sunset. I could see him well with binoculars only 75 yards away. For some stupid reason, I took out a 25-35 Winchester Model 94 Rifle (not carbine) that was made in 1895 by serial number. I could not see the buck at all though a peep sight that was put on it. I just had to watch.

A good Leopold scope from then on!
Well since this is celluloid knives, how about this Bulldog single blade copperhead that is 1 of only 5 made.

4th generation.

nice bulldog Hukk, ya know, and entire handle made from that glow material would be cool, if it's too slick you could always checker it for a better grip? The spacer idea is very nice too.

here's one that came in the mail today. 1940's Thornton 3 1/2" jack.
I know it's pretty bad handle wise, split and some shrinkage, but the blades cleaned up really nice and they walk & talk like a BEAR trap!
I'd really hate to see a knife like this with decent HIGH CARBON blades get stuffed in a drawer so i had to buy it.
I'll be gettin' ahold of muskratman for some new handles i think.

And for some not so new members as well.
I remember when I first discovered the truth about Celluloid.
It saved me a lot of heartache, but it was also one of my biggest knife disappointments.
Thanks, Justold.
