I suspect you found that next to a pile of hens teeth and rocking horse poop in a dragons cave. A truly supreme find.

And Ken blows it up with some great knives all lined up!

I really like this 2 middle ones Ken, what are we seeing there? Equal end and a kind of a sleeveboard pattern In worm jig?

Here are some Cat pics. of some of my newest additions. The pearl lobster does not have Little Valley on the tang stamp. Very early knife and the first Cat lobster I have seen with a pull out tweezers/salt spoon.
That match-safe vesta item is so darn nice David

, oops I'm sorry that would now be DR David. Do we need an appointment to see you now????

Here is one more Cat. It is shown in an old catalog as pattern 11047 with cocoabolo handles and is 4" closed. There is a faint etch remaining but I can't make it out.

There is gentleman selling off Rhett Stidham's collection of knife items on ebay and he had this one up for sale. The price was high but he was good enough to work with me on it. I think it might have been the corner of a large counter felt but I am not sure. No matter I still love the darn thing.

an interesting piece of CAT history I found this past weekend. Rare to find the matching box. Not sure if I am keeping this one as Galvanic seems to corner the market on CAT items and this may be the only thing left to own. GOTCHA MIKE,
I love finding things like this to share with others.
We know CAT didn't make the clippers, but I love the matching box and CAT stamping on the clipper handles.

Superb knife! That is, without doubt, the nicest one of those I've ever seen.
Probably the best knife M. Klein ever put out.

I just picked up a batch of blades, springs and handles that were from the old Cattaraugus factory. The large clip blade I have never seen before nor have I seen a Cat ink eraser.

Some interesting finds there galvanic. That one in the middle is really eye-catching.
Is that the original shape with the heavy belly and swedge?
