Thanks Mason and you are correct, they have been very hard to research.
Gus....his Kissing Crane knives are all vintage, pre 1972.
I spoke to the seller via e-mail yesterday and he assures they are mint.

The Crane used to be a popular carrying and trading item around here (Mid to late 70's). Don't know what happened to them. basser 5 very nice yellow copperhead. All I have now is one of the newer cheap versions with plastic handles. No comparison to the older knives.

Gus...I couldn't agree more, i have met several nice folks from Germany through Ebay.

I have no experience with the newer ones. I can only guess that they are like all the other old companies where older is better.

The stag has a pen blade release lock mech, pretty cool.
