I'm not even sure you still have this Barlow, Dale (and if you do and don't want it, PM me ::nod::), but here is a NYK Barlow from a connoisseur of the marque for comparison's sake.

Pins look right, Barlow rough shape could be the same, everything except the lack of swedging. It's definitely not an Imperial. It is way beyond a "nice Barlow". ::tu::

Just acquired this Hammer Brand from New York Knife.
Came from my father in law who grow up in NY, and based on the age (maybe pre 1930's?) it probably belonged to his father.
It's not something I would sell, as I also collect knives, but I'd like to hear others opinion on the origin. It's a nice folder.

Great knife. It has that classic bone that NYKC used. I would keep it just as it is. As a family heirloom it is priceless. ::tu:: ::tu::
