Paul, its looks very sharp and pointy !
There's a commercial version of Camillus jet pilot knife.
I'm thinking it was made late 1970's to 80's...?

A knife is only as good as its' blade.
This is some of Schrade's Fixed Blade Knives, they made before closing down.

I have never seen a collection of HESS beauties before. Impressive! The Schrades that go into those Craftsman sheaths are a great gathering in their own right.

Just picked this one up this afternoon;a Cutco model 1769 JI complete with sheath. Doesn't appear to have been used but the sheath looks old.The serrations are still crisp.

I just get lucky sometimes. That particular knife has been sitting in a display at a local flea market for some time now. I never really paid too much attention to it. Today I went over there(it is across the street from where I live)after getting back from a long weekend at a car show 100 miles away and decided to ask what he wanted for it. Wound up getting it for $10. I guess it was a good deal;I haven't had the chance to research it yet. Guess I'll display it with one of my Cutco "Sherlocks".

Just finished this one up, another Western W-31 style blade and cocobolo handle. I have made 4 of these now. For some reason people like the blade grind?
