I just finished this "wedding Knife" for my great-nephew who is getting hitched Sept 9th. The shape is a copy of my mom's old 1940's carving knife but this one has fancy English Walnut handle with mosaic pins. Blade is O-1 tool steel. :D Terry

A Marbles Woodcraft and its second cousin Kinfolks Trail Master.

Kinfolks is a nice knife just not up to par with Marbles....IMHO

Not sure sharing something you made yourself counts or not, but this is my new butchering slash hunting knife it measures 13" 3/4 with 8" blade it can do just about anything in the woods or campsite or in the butcher shack it is strong carbon steel pinned stag antler with some spacers. Just thought I would share so I can see what the knife community and people thought of my work ~ It's hand forged and tempered for a 59RCH ~ Convex Grind ~ I've been trying my hand at making knives now on and off for the past three years, I first got into stock removal method and a few months ago I started forging and I have to say, I'm liking forging more because there is a lot less grinding and dust and my belts sure go a lot further ~ thanks for looking ~ !

Nice knives Mountain Man. Sure it counts if you made the knife yourself; counts at least double.
Looking at the knives on this page shows how talented some members are.
Adog did you scrimshaw the antler handle on the Schrade blade ?

Adog, nice mod on a "49er-s".
I have two: a stacked leather and a stagalon.
Don't you just love the sheaths?

MMK: I think your knives have an exceptionally well realized purpose driven design. Plus, imho, they are aesthetically very appealing. Fine work. ::tu::

mmk, looks like you might have read or looked at Dr. Lucie's book about Bill Scagel, Nice work! Do you have a stamp on your knives? If not you should get one. I have been making knives for about 17 years and after the first few years, a friend of mine said he would buy one if I had my name on them, so I ordered one and have been cold stamping my logo ever since. Keep up the good work! Terry ::handshake::

Thanks Terry ~ I Stamp all my Knives with my First Initial ~ A Simple "J" ~ I might change it one of these days but as for now I see no reason to, I like keeping it simple and how it doesn't take up a lot a real estate and how it looks on my blades and the stamp when its finally worn out it can be easily replaced cost effective ~ no one else has used it as of yet, that I know of that is ~ I'm hoping it stays that way too ~ I also think people can tell if it is one of mine or not at least I hope so ~

I normally spend most of my time posting in the Remington threads but thought I'd post a couple of my non-Remington fixed blades here. Has anyone else heard of Butch Taylor? His knives and craftsmanship are impressive. ::tu::

The Colt is a massive, heavy knife also with amazing craftsmanship. ::nod:: ::tu::

Both gorgeous knives. I don't know what Mr. Taylor does to treat his handles but surely he does something. And the Colt looks flawless to my eyes. ::tu:: ::tu::
