those are two good looking knives the second one i have one like it on yours is the numbers on the back slanted or are the stright across cause mine are slanted yours is the only one ive seen like mine so i was woundering if mine was just a slip up at the factory or not
The pattern number is slanted on the back of the main blade. I think there is not enough room to put it strait as it is rather slender blade.

here is pics of mine i actually have two the first one that has the slanted numbers like yours the numbers on it is 2265 and i cant see the last number and the master blade aint like yours when i first got it i thought that it had been broke and reworked but after looking it appers like its factory cause the nail pull is in the rite place and the other one looks just alike but has different pattern numbers they are 622 over 333 but the two looks just alike the first one is the one with slanted numbers

I posted these on another thread but figured what the heck might as well post them here also. 2 different Cattaraugus Catalogs. I just bought another but it is going to a friend.

The second one looks like mine though it has a nail nick. It's impossible to see the complete pattern # on my knife and it's hard to read what is visible, what I think I see is only 033

My latest Cat, the blade still has a faint etch HUNTER'S PRIDE. Blade is in nice condition and nice and tight.

Hey Mike, I had an identical pearl handled doc with the Mentholatum advertising, but it was stamped Ulster Knife Co. Otherwise it was a dead ringer to that Catt. doc. Is the spatula thin and spring tempered? (flexable)

That's kind of interesting, seems they were likely built by the same company. Which would be more likely, Catt. for Ulster, or Ulster for Catt.? I'll see if i've still got a pic of the Ulster over in Photobucket. I'm pretty sure I don't have one in my computer files.

First time I've seen those little stick figure men on anything associated with Cattaraugus. Reminds me of the Henkels twins.
Very cool item MB.

They both have tomahawks in their hands and what looks like feathers in their hair, although that could be pigtails.
i suspect they're Indians.
Charlie Noyes, wondering why I'm the only one seeing that?

Love the knife pouch MB!! Here is one I got not long ago, it came with a nice sheath which I need to take a picture of. I don't usually got after Cat sheath knives but could not pass this one up.
