Great looking bunch of knives, Ken. ::tu:: ::clapping::

It's a shame that Schrade USA closed their doors. I have a soft spot for the sharpfinger 152 pattern. Here are a few of mine.

I only have two or three Sharpfingers.
This is a set that did not make it to production, in 2004.
I have seen another two of the Sharpfingers, they came in white boxes...

Excellent showing, Ken!!! ::tu:: ::clapping::

Especially the set from 2004!!!

Schrade and Camillus were neighbors and when Schrade closed Camillus picked up the 152 pattern until they closed a couple of years later. Here are two of the Camillus offerings. The second one was an unfinished blade blank from the factory after they closed their doors and it was finished and customized by our own ORVET.

Now that Schrade USA and Camillus NY have both closed up shop......another American cutler has picked up the sharpfinger pattern. This is the offering from Bear MGC / Bear & Son.

Guess I'll throw these into the mix:
Randall Model 7-5 originally owned by Bob McKinley(whoever that was).
4 knives by Tom McLuin(3 fixed blades and his 1st friction folder). Not sure if Tom is still active;haven't talked with him in several years.
A Ralph Bone boot knife(#181)
2 by Bill Zalesky(my 1st and 2nd custom knives)
A Red Walsh dagger.
3 knives by someone named McGrann. The blades are marked Brusletto.
A Jimmy Lile drop point made for Duxback(#333 of 500).
A small drop point stamped FRP. Brass handle slabs(a very heavy knife for it's size)
A small unmarked custom that was unfinished when I bought it.Nice construction.
And last is a drop point by George Cousino who lives about 15 miles from me. This was a Christmas gift that my son and daughter bought for me.

Here is a Case Kodiak. I believe it is one of the earlier examples and I believe the sheath is correct for the knife. I would be grateful for opinions regarding age and the correctness of the sheath. I am a Case slip joint collector, so I don't know much about this particular knife other than it is in great condition.

Thanks for looking.

Ralph, the tang stamp on your knife would indicate that the knife was mad between 1940 and 1965. I'm not sure about the sheath but it looks to be correct. Like you I'm mostly a collector of folders but I have started accumulating some fixed blade knives.

Real Marlin Spike (bill) Dagger. Came from a tuna fisherman selling these at the local art festival. Gets some Marlin on his long lines and makes these himself from the bills. Blew me away how cool they are. Could be lethal too.

Very unusual; I never would have thought of such a thing. I love the fancy nautical "rope" work. Great post! ::tu::

Posted this in the new acquisitions but figured I would post it here as well.Marbles fish knife(I think that is what it's called)found at the second day of an estate sale(don't know how I missed it the first time around)mixed in with a batch of tools on a table for seventy five cents.

Strangely enough the button was only on the Model 79 and 80;at least according to the catalog drawing in the book. I still can't believe nobody picked up on it in the pile of tools on the table. At least several knife collectors I know went through the estate sale before me.

::handshake:: Just finished this skinner up a couple of weeks ago. It has some really nice ebony handle scales and brass guard and pins. I put it in a hand stitched black sheath also. I have it listed on the "advertisement" section of the aapk forums. The steel I used is high carbon 1080 tempered to about 56-58 Rockwell. Thanks for looking, Terry

Sure wish I had the scratch for that itch. I love that profile blade and that right there is a mighty fine example of the cutlers art. ::nod:: ::tu:: ::tu::
